–MARRIED—On Tuesday morning at 6½ o’clock, at the residence of the bride’s father, Mr. W.H. Shields, by the Rev. H.G. Hilton, Miss Mamie G. Shields, of our town, to Mr. J. Harper Alexander, of Palmyra. The happy couple left immediately on a bridal tour to the eastern part of the State. We congratulate our friend Mr. A., in winning one of the fairest and best of our young ladies: but our loss is his gain.
