Land in Estate of R.S. Spruill to be Auctioned, 1883, NC

I shall sell for cash to the highest bidder at the Court House door in Halifax on Monday, the 4th day of June, 1883, that tract of land formerly belonging to the estate of R.S. Spruill, adjoining the lands of C.P. Simmons and others, containing about fifty acres, or so much thereof as it will take to pay the State and county taxes due for the years 1880, 1881, and 1882 and cost of this advertisement.
