GOLDSBORO GEMS.

Mrs. J.E. O’Hara and son Raphael arrived Monday evening on a visit to her sister, Mrs. George T. Wassom.

_______________

[From the 1880 census, it appears that Mrs. J.E. O’Hara was born about 1850 in Michigan and was probably visiting from Enfield, Halifax, NC, her home in 1880. Her given name was Elizabeth E, maiden name Harris. Her husband, James E. O’Hara was a lawyer (similar occupation to her sister’s husband) and was born in New York.]
