Marriage of Julia Davidson and Rev. T.H. Strohecker, NC 1883

April 26, 1883 (The Commonwealth, a newspaper of Scotland Neck, NC, 2d page)
[From the exchanges]

Journal-Observer: Rev. T.H. Strohecker, of Salisbury, was married in this city last night, at 9 o’clock, to Miss Julia S. Davidson, at the residence of the bride’s father, Mr. A.B. Davidson. Dr. A. W. Miller, of the First Presbyterian church performed the ceremony.

[It appears this is Thomas Hamlin Strohecker who, from records and trees on, had been an ordained minister and then later went to medical school and became a physician. He was born in 1847 in South Carolina. Julia Davidson’s father appears to have been Adam Brevard Davidson. She was born in 1858 in North Carolina. I believe her ID# is LWFP-8SZ.]
