TAKEN UP,

And Committed to the Jail of this town on the 15th inst. as a Runaway, a negro man by the name of

JIM;

Who was the property of William Little, of Pitt county, and says that he belongs to James Tindle, of Anson county. The said negro is a stout, well made fellow, and of a black complexion; about five feet seven or eight inches high; from thirty to thirty-five years of age. The owner of said negro is requested to come forward, prove property, pay charges, and take him away.
