lately, on his passage to India, whither he was going to dispense the Word of Everlasting Life, the Rev. Thomas Coke, L.L.D, one of the Bishops of the Methodist Episcopal Church in the United States. He was the disciple and immediate successor, as the head of the Methodist Church, of the late Rev. John Welley.
