Sisters(-in-Law): Mrs. P. E. Smith and Mrs. T. N. Hill, NC, 1882

September 21, 1882 (The Commonwealth, a newspaper of Scotland Neck, NC, 3rd page)

Mrs. P. E. Smith is visiting her sister, Mrs. T. N. Hill, in Halifax.

[More information and correction from David Gammon: “Actually the newspaper is in error. They were actually sisters-in-law, as Judge Thomas Norfleet Hill was brother to Mrs. Smith, the former Rebecca Norfleet Hill and Mrs. T.N. Hill was Eliza Evans Hall before her marriage.” Thank you!]
