Spaulding and Omert Marriage, Iowa, during 1874

At Cedar Falls, March 3d, by Rev. ——–, Mr. Alonzo Spaulding, formerly of Anamosa, and Miss Kate Omert, of Greene, Butler County.

It seems that it did not take Mr. Spaulding long to discover that “it is not well for man to live alone,” and so he has done wisely in choosing a young and blooming maiden to cheer and illumine the pathway of his advancing yet buoyant years. Our heartiest congratulations are hereby extended.
